HUNGRY Cobden residents can help raise money for a good cause and enjoy a tasty breakfast at the same time.
Greencon Australia Pty Ltd manager of business services Tony McAuliffe said a barbecue breakfast will be held at Greencon in Cobden on October 13 between 6.30am
and 8.30am.
Mr McAuliffe said this will be the third event held, with funds raised from the first going to the Cobden CFA and the second saw proceeds going to Cobden SES.
“This time we’re raising funds for the local Ambulance Community Officers,” he said.
“Anyone is welcome to attend. We’re going to have Vicki’s Coffee Bus there.
“Kooler Dairy is providing milk and eggs and Cobden Bakery are donating loavesof bread.
“Businesses are very supportive, it’s incredible.”
Mr McAuliffee said the last breakfast saw 96 egg and bacon sandwhiches sold on the day.
He thanked those who continued to support the initiative, which began as a ‘Tradies Breakfast’ and turned into a ‘Community Breakfast’.
“Thank you to James and Greencon for being supportive of the idea,” Mr McAuliffe said.
