Conheady in good form
DONNA Conheady has continued her good form on the greens to win Wednesday’s stroke round at Camperdown golf.
Conheady, with 87 (12) 75 net, won on countback from runner-up Gayle Gill on 105 (30) 75 net.
Unless her score is bettered by a woman playing in Saturday’s stroke round, Donna Conheady will be the April women's monthly medallist.
Gayle Gill won the nine hole competition with 37 net on the top course and Donna claimed the putting with 32 putts.
Nearest the pins: 9th Ros Brauer, 15th Deb Narik and 16th Donna Conheady.
Balls down the line went to Ros Brauer, Jake Bateman and Chris Farmer.
Next week is a 4BBB pairs event and the Judy Webber Knock Out Pairs qualifier.
WDGA women’s pennant resumes next Monday.
Camperdown division one team of R. Brauer, D. Conheady, J. Moulden, J. Hillman, Gabby Gill and T. Sinnott (emergency) will play Timboon at Peterborough.
The division four team has a bye and hosts the first round at home.
