Camperdown golfer Donna Conheady set a new women’s course record last week.
CAMPERDOWN golfer Donna Conheady set a new women’s course record last week with 81 off the stick.
Despite the cool and overcast conditions, there was some hot golf played at Camperdown in Wednesday’s stroke competition.
In breaking the course record, Donna beat her previous record score of 85 by four shots.
She is currently leading the November women’s monthly medal competition with 81 (14) 67 net.
She could only be beaten if a better women’s score was recorded last Saturday.
Tracey Baker was runner-up last week with 87 (16) 71 net.
Tracey won the nine-hole competition with a net 34 on the lakeside course.
Doreen Horan won the putting competition with a miserly 28 putts.
Deb Narik claimed the nearest the pins on the 2nd, 9th, 16th and 17th greens, leaving only the 15th for Ruth Skene.
Balls down the line went to Jenny Hillman, Doreen Horan and Gayle Gill.
A reminder the Noelene Sadler competition will run over summer.
