Conheady Singapore-bound
CAMPERDOWN’S Aidan Conheady will head to Singapore early next year as a member of the Australian 20 and Under Men’s netball team.

Conheady was recently named in the 12-member national team which will compete in the Men’s Netball Nations Cup against sides from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and England.
His selection tops off a stella season on the court, having represented Victoria at the Australian Mens’ and Mixed Netball Association national championships earlier this year.
Victoria finished third after the round robin matches but lost to South Australia in the preliminary final.
When speaking to the Camperdown Chronicle earlier this year about his chances of national team selection, Conheady had said he felt it would be “pretty tough” to get in the side given he was a bottom age player.
The Australian 20 and Under team will be eager to go one better in Singapore next year, after a heartbreaking one-goal defeat at the hands of Fiji previously.
The tournament will run from January 11-17.
