Corporate bowls begins
CORPORATE bowls has begun at the Camperdown Bowling Club.
Twenty-six teams, incorporating 104 players, took to the greens earlier this week for the start of the 2025 social competition.
The teams, representing a wide range of businesses across Camperdown, enjoyed a night of bowls on Monday followed by a barbecue and drinks.
Despite the warm conditions, loads of fun was had by all.
The Shire number two team was the winners on the night, followed by Western District Newspapers – with all receiving vouchers courtesy of the Camperdown Pharmacy.
Raffle winners of a fruit and veggie hamper were Neil Randall and Donna Watts.
A phantom draw saw players from Ray White Real Estate, Concrete Petroleum and Gary Fryers Painting each collect $10.
The second round will be played next Monday, February 11, from 6pm.
