Couzens wins at Terang

PLAYING off a handicap of two, Mark Couzens won the stableford event at Terang Golf Club last Saturday.

Couzens finished on 39 points, ahead of runner-up Jenny Meade (15) 37.

Balls down the line went to Stephen Grinter (18) 36, Martin Wynd (16) 36, Barry Stonehouse (14) 35, Marion Venn (13) 34 and Geoff Campbell (30) 34.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Jenny Meade, 6th Chris Coolahan, 8th Stephen Grinter and 11th Martin Wynd.

Sunday’s 18-hole stableford winner was Michael Sargeant (9) 39 from Martin Wynd (15) 37.

This Saturday will be stableford and Sunday stableford nine or 18 holes from 10.30am onwards.
