Couzens wins stableford

MARK Couzens finished on 37 points last Saturday to take out the day’s stableford event at the Terang Golf Club.

Runner-up on the day was Caleb Kavanagh on 37 points.

Balls down the line went to Daryl Johnstone (20) 36, Tim Keane (11) 36, Josh Brown (scratch) 36 and Liam Venn (6) 35.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Josh Brown, 6th Barry Stonehouse, 8th Caleb Kavanagh and 11th Luke Tebble.

Last Sunday’s 18-hole stableford was won by Matthew Drayton (12) 38 from runner-up Cooper Beard (19) 35.

This Saturday will be stableford while on Sunday the course will be closed as it hosts the WDGA pennant finals.

Terang’s division three handicap team will play Warrnambool this Sunday at Terang.
