Crews battle vehicle fire
COUNTRY Fire Authority (CFA) units raced to the scene of a fully-engulfed vehicle fire in Dixie last week.

A CFA spokesperson said a rapid response from units had brought the fire, stemming from a mechanical issue, under control before it could spread overnight last Thursday.
“Four CFA units responded to reports of a fire on Cobden-Terang Road in Dixie at around 12.26am on Friday, October 3,” the spokesperson said.
“Units responded from Terang, Cobrico and Dixie.
“Crews discovered a car fully involved in fire but the driver was safely out of the vehicle.
“Victoria Police were notified of the incident.
“The incident was deemed under control at 12.50am and safe at 1.48am.”
