Students from years one through to six competed in a range of swimming events, relays and novelty events last Thursday.

A ball scramble, sinkie scramble and handstand competition also proved popular on the day – along with a year six versus teachers freestyle relay (won by staff).

Students competed in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke events, along with freestyle relays.

In accepting the winning shield, house captain Mahli Baxter and vice-captain Jett Daffy thanked their team for their efforts, staff for organising the day and families for their support.

Five students will now go on to compete at the divisional swimming championships in Warrnambool this Friday, February 28.
