Dan calls in
MEMBER for Wannon Dan Tehan spent time in the area last week speaking with residents.

Mr Tehan held listening posts in Simpson, Timboon and Cobden before then travelling on to Terang.
“The issues people have raised they are very upset about the state government cutting the road program by 95 per cent, the cost of living and the tree plantations,” he said.
“An idea suggested was a development bank to help young farmers get into dairy.
“Roads are the big issue, people are saying to get rid of the suburban rail loop and fix the roads.”
Mr Tehan said people in the community were busy preparing for the holidays.
“People are busy and everyone is flat out getting ready for Christmas,” he said.
