Davies and Palmer take the win

PETER Palmer and Aaron Davies have combined to take out the aggregate stableford event at the Mortlake Golf Club.

Palmer (10) and Davies (34) finished on 66 points last Saturday to finish ahead of runners-up Andrew Hassett (28) and Dougal Ranken (13) on 62.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Dougal Ranken and 9/18 Richard van Diemen.

Balls down the line went to Merv Hampson, Glen Birnie, Steve Hubbard and Richard van Diemen.

Next week’s event will be 4BBB stableford.
