Davies wins stableford

AARON Davies finished on 49 points to win stableford at the Mortlake Golf Club last Saturday.

Davies was followed by Merv Hampson on 39.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Hamish Weatherly, 6/15 Aaron Davies and 9/18 Tony McLennan.

Balls down the line went to Tony McLennan, Eric Clarke, Hamish Weatherly, David Uebergang and Scott Richie.

Eagle: Hamish Wealtherly 9 (5th hole) six balls.

Ashley Macklin was a new member.

Last Friday’s nine hole twilight was won by David Snibson on 14-47-33 followed by runner-up Peter Palmer 6-41-35.

Nearest the pin on the 9th was Peter Palmer.

Next week’s event will be an Irish four ball.
