Deb Ferrari shines on the greens

COBDEN’S lady golfers last week contested the February monthly medal and putting competition, as well as round one of the Barrett Shield and the silver spoon.

A grade was won by Ellen Darcy on 73 nett ahead of runner-up Sherine Healey on 79

Deb Ferrari won B grade on 93-25-68 nett from runner-up Janine Stevens on 69.

The monthly medal winner was Deb Ferrari, who is also leading the Barrett Shield and silver spoon.

The putting winner was also Deb Ferrari with 29 putts.

Nearest the pins: A grade – 4th Ellen Darcy; B grade – 4th Deb Ferrari, 10th Pat Tickner; C grade – 4th, 7th and 10th Marie Smith.

The second shot on the 8th hole went to Ellen Darcy in A grade.

Balls down the line: Di McKenzie 72 nett, Kate Parlour and Netty Hose 73 nett.
