Demons fall
THE Timboon Demons senior football side struggled to contain a rampant Russells Creek over the weekend, falling by 70 points.
Russells Creek came out firing at the Timboon Recreation Reserve on Saturday with a six-goal onslaught in to the first quarter, heading in to the first break with a commanding 6.4 (40) to 2.3 (15) lead.
The Demons were able to flash the potential of their young side in the second quarter, matching Russells Creek three-goal apiece to head in to the sheds down 26.
Russells Creek was able to wrestle back momentum after half time, however, running out 18.15.123 winners over Timboon Demons 8.5 (53).
Best players for the Demons were Ash Hunt, Isaac Bedggood, Lachlan Rosolin, Delaney, Mitchell Wallace, Samuel Newey.
Rosolin, Rhys Ziegelaar, Kyle Delaney and Mitchell Gristede led the goal scoring, with each notching up two-apiece.
The reserves side was also unsuccessful in their match, falling 12.13. (85) to 2.1 (13) against Russells Creek.
Best players for the reserves were Darcy Tribe, Steven Crees, Daniel Shanahan, Luke Gledhill, Robert Matthews, Luke Gale.
Jeremy Doolan and Drew Kordupel each recorded a goal.
Meanwhile in the netball, Timboon Demons earned the win over Russells Creek, running out 14-point winners (54-40).

A reserve: Timboon Demons lost to Russells Creek 30-36.
B grade: Timboon Demons lost to Russells Creek 30-42.
17 and under: Timboon Demons lost to Russells Creek 33-34.
15 and under: Timboon Demons defeated Russells Creek 30-10
13 and under: Timboon Demons defeated Russells Creek 26-24
