Open again: Digneys Bridge has been reopened to the public after works were completed last week.
WORKS on the Digneys Bridge upgrade have progressed this month.
The deck for the new bridge has now installed and concreted, with posts being installed last week.
The new deck will be left to cure until October 19 and then the bridge rails will be installed.
A reminder that Digneys Bridge Road is closed at the bridge site and alternative travel routes need to be taken on both sides of the bridge.
Works to replace the bridge will be completed in three to four weeks.
The project has been funded by $140,000 from council and by a $560,000 grant from the Federal Government’s Bridges Renewal Program.
