Do you have an event for calendar?
EVENT organisers can promote their event in every home in the Corangamite Shire, and beyond.
EVENT organisers can promote their event in every home in the Corangamite Shire, and beyond.
Submissions are invited for the Corangamite Shire Council calendar which will be mailed to all shire households in December and is offered to visitors to the region.
Mayor Ruth Gstrein said this was a great opportunity for groups to put their event in the spotlight.
“Planning a local event for 2024? Don’t miss your chance to promote it far and wide by listing in the 2024 Corangamite calendar,” she said.
“By being part of council’s calendar you could potentially have a presence in just about every home in the shire, and beyond.
“Each year 10,000 calendars are printed, featuring images of the Shire and some of the fantastic natural attractions, cultural activities, goods and services it has to offer.
“In 2024 they are again set to be hung prominently in homes and businesses around the district so they can remind residents of what’s coming up, including your event.”
Cr Gstrein said the calendar lists the key dates and events around the shire throughout the year, including markets, agricultural shows, festivals school holidays and special events.
“Visitors also pick up copies and it gets sent as a Christmas gift around the world which really puts Corangamite Shire in the spotlight to a far wider audience,” she said.
