Doing it for Jarrod

THIRTY golfers took part in a privilege pot (stableford) #DoingItForJarrod Day at the Cobden club last Saturday.

A grade was won by J. Rix on 36 points, followed by H. Rix 35, M. Drayton 34 and B. Welsby 34.

Rounding out the top 10 finishers were B. Taylor in fourth on 34 points, S. Rix 33, L. Bishop 32, P. Hammond 31, A. Giles 31 and B. Henderson 30.

Nearest the pins: 4th B. McSween, 7th K. Daffy and closest second on the 14th M. Drayton.

J. Rix was on the privilege pot with 36 points.

A reminder the men’s championships will commence on Saturday, November 22.

Round two will be held on Sunday, November 23, round three Saturday, November 24 and round four on Saturday, December 6.

The Rix m/play handicap was won by G. Davis who defeated D. Jopling on the 19th hole.

This Saturday will be a stableford competition.
