Senior Sergeant Bill Caldow said the pair were arrested in relation to a road rage incident that occurred on February 11 and are bailed with a 9pm to 7am curfew.

“They were charged with reckless conduct endangering life. Search warrants were executed at their premises, and drugs were also located at the premises, which have been subject to charges,” he said.

“During our inquiries, we have picked up on alleged conduct around entering the boundaries of properties - not actually inside properties, but on the boundaries - shining torches, and following people around, both in a car and on foot.

“We’re making further enquiries around that.

“We have taken some statements in relation to that, and we’re looking for further information around that.”

Residents have reported feeling unsafe following these incidents, with Snr Srgnt Caldow saying it was important residents report any incidents to Triple 0 (000) immediately.

“Security video never hurts, and just being vigilant (helps),” he said.

“We’re certainly encouraging contact with police.

“The response from the Lismore community has been very strong and we have received good information thus far.

“Anyone with information, or even just wants to discuss it, can contact Camperdown Police on 5593 1000, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
