Club president Shane Scally said he was thrilled with the success of the day; from competitive races through to raising $5200 for Myeloma Australia through the auction of a five per cent stake in a two-year-old, Symon Wilde-trained filly.

“It went very well, we had a lot of people there,” he said.

“The racing was quite good, it was quite a competitive event across each of the races.

“But I know everybody had a great day because they kept saying they did.

“It worked well, we raised money for a good cause and I think all involved were very satisfied with it.”

The day started with the Logan Contracting Maiden Highweight Plate, with the Mitchell Freedman-trained Motivator saluting ahead of Direct Sound and Dollar Buck.

In race two, the Symon Wilde-trained Amizetta claimed the Lawd Agribusiness Hwt with Stardom Awaayts and A Dime Approach trailing behind.

The Brandt Terang Maiden Plate saw the Tom Debernig-trained My Angel Shell race home ahead of Heavenly Way and Bundoran.

The Henry-Dwyer trained Hard To Go Wrong took home the Alta Genetics Maiden Plate in race four, with Gin Baba and Tikken rounding out the top three.

Ultra Blue made it a second win for Tom Dabernig, claiming first in the Kyvalley Dairy Maiden Plate ahead of Marina Di Campo and American Wolf.

The Ridley Agriproducts Bm64 was run and won by the Mitchell Freedman-trained Docinthe, with Divine Turf and Crackle ‘N’ Burn close behind.

Race seven saw Francine (trained Aaron Purcell) take home the Monk and Son Ag Services Bm58 followed by Verbosity and Miss Top Gun.

Tennessee Knight (trained Maddie Raymond) claimed the final win of the day in the Bet365/Terang Co-Op Rural Store Bm58 followed by Sevillana and Nizhoni.
