Downpour sees store soaked
CAMPERDOWN’S State Emergency Services (SES) unit were called out Wednesday afternoon following the bout of heavy rainfall.

A VICSES spokesperson said the unit was called to a business on Manifold Street which had experienced flooding.
“VICSES Camperdown Unit volunteers were called to reports of water entering through the roof of a premises near Camperdown following heavy rainfall,” the spokesperson said.
“Crews attended and cleared an amount of debris from the building’s guttering system, before clearing the incident shortly after 3.30pm.”
A second business on a separate block also experienced flooding due to the rainfall.
