Driver escapes injury after crash
POLICE are reminding residents to take care on the roads after a single vehicle accident on Saturday.
Racing off: Lismore’s State Emergency Services (SES) assisted Victoria Police in clearing the scene.
A single vehicle travelling along Vite Vite Road on Saturday, July 26 came off the road and crashed in a ditch at around 5.28pm.
Camperdown Police attended, but no police action was required.
The driver sustained no injuries.
Lismore State Emergency Services (SES) assisted in retrieving the vehicle.
Camperdown Police Acting Senior Constable Craig Merry encouraged drivers to take their time and drive carefully, particularly as cold and wet conditions continue.
“Make sure you have regular stops,” he said.
“Drive to the road conditions and within the speed limit.”
