Eagles for Beasley and Scanlon
TERANG golfers Fred Beasley and Sharee Scanlon both scored eagles on their cards last week.
Beasley scored his eagle on the seventh while Scanlon’s was on the fourth.
Twenty-nine players competed in the all-day competition, with Jane Heffernan winning the ladies’ event on 38 points.
She was followed by Margie Driscoll on 37, on countback from Sybil Ubergang 37.
The men’s winner was Fred Beasley with 37 points, followed by Bernie Kenna on 35 on countback from Riley Scanlon 35.
Balls down the line: Sybil Ubergang 37, Judy Carmody 35, Riley Scanlon 35, Linda Kenna 35 and Sharee Scanlon 34.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Caleb Kavanagh, 6th Linda Kenna, 8th George Beasley and 11th George Beasley.

The ladies’ championship will start on Thursday, February 20 with the second round on Thursday, February 27.
