Early tee-off

DUE to last Saturday’s extreme weather conditions, Mortlake golfers hit off between 8am and 8.30am.

The winner on the day was Kevin Etherton (9) 39 points from runner-up Gary Glossop (21) 38 points and third-placed Glen Byers (20) 37 points.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 and 6/15 Dougal Ranken, 9/18 Kevin Etherton.

The eagles nest on the 8th hole went to Ben Boers with 16 balls.

Balls down the line: Glen Byers, Ben Boers and Hamish Weatherly on countback.

Last Friday’s nine-hole twilight was won by Ian Jubb 16-45-29 from runner-up Peter West 21-51-30.

Nearest the pin was Richard van Diemen.
