Empty greens last weekend

MOTHER Nature reared its head last weekend, with rain and strong winds forcing the cancellation of bowls.

While the rain was no doubt welcomed by many farmers across the district, Camperdown bowlers had been looking forward to competing on the greens.

It is hoped the fine weather will return in time for this weekend’s matches.

Teams for round nine of Saturday pennant tomorrow (December 7) are as follows:

Division one, home to City:
