Fatima wins swim sports

AFTER a successful day in the pool, Fatima House was named swimming champions for St Patrick’s School for 2024 last week.

It was pleasing to see so many students take part in this year’s carnival, spurred on by the cheers of students in year 2.

The girls/boys v teachers relay was one of many highlights of the day.

Congratulations to the following age group champions:

9 year old – Ruby Glennen (girls) and Joshua McConachy (boys).

10 year old – Emma Lillie (girls) and William Sinnott (boys).

11 year old - Essie Myers (girls) and Liam Pascoe (boys).

12 year old – Etti Glennen (girls) and Harry Sinnott (boys).

Overall house placings were as follows:

1st Fatima with an average of 5.98, 2nd Lourdes 5.82, 3rd Nazareth 5.77 and 4th Mercy 5.65.
