Festive breakfast for walking group
THE Terang Walking Group gathered last week for a special Christmas breakfast.
The group concluded a busy year with a buffet-style breakfast last Wednesday with around 40 of its members in attendance.
Committee member Cheryl Ham said 2024 had proven a successful year for the group.
“We’ve gone fairly well,” she said.
“We’ve had a few walks outside of the town in Mortlake and Cobden.
“We’ve tried to run our monthly activities externally and had a couple of guest speakers
“We’ve increased our members slightly, so I think we’ve gone well.”
Terang Walking Group returns on January 8 in 2025, giving the community an opportunity to heighten their physical fitness and create new connections among its members.
The group meets at 9.30am on a Wednesday at the Terang Senior Citizens Clubrooms on The Promenade.
