The Bloods will head to Camperdown for round one of the Hampden League finals series after finishing the home and away season in third, just a game behind the Eagles.
The two sides first met in round two, when the Bloods enjoyed a 62-point victory, but the Eagles turned the tables in round 11 and took the win by 40-points.
The Bloods finished the home and away season last weekend with a big win over Hamilton at home, 25.12.162 to 10.9.69.
Will Kain added to his goal kicking tally, adding six majors for the day, and was well supported by Ryan Tanner with five, Ryley Hutchins (4), Matthew Baxter and Hugh Porter (two each).
Other contributors were Joe Arundell, Rhys Buck, Jordan Harris, Isaac Kenna, Luke McConnell and Xavier Vickers with one apiece.
Ryley Hutchins, Lachlan Wareham, Will Kain, Scott Carlin, Xavier Vickers and Luke McConnell were named best for the Bloods.
After finishing the home and away season in fourth, Terang Mortlake’s reserves will take on Koroit in this Sunday’s elimination final.
The Bloods will head into the final fresh off a last round win over the Kangaroos, 11.11.77 to 4.5.29.
The Bloods led from the first bounce, heading into the main break with a handy 28-point lead before extending that in the second half, adding six majors to the scoreboard.
Zac Newson, Edward Arundell, Harvey Roberts, Josh Brown, Will Berryman and Toby Harris all worked hard for the Bloods and were named in the best.
Brown booted three goals for the day while Roberts kicked two and singles came from Will Berryman, Connor Cardwell, Charlie Finnerty, Bailey Kavenagh, Zac Newson and Jack Lehmann.
The Bloods netballers had a tough day on the courts, winning just one game.
Open – Hamilton defeated Terang Mortlake 65-48. Best: Eboni Knights, Alice Kain and Johanna Glennen.
Division one – Hamilton defeated Terang Mortlake 50-25. Best for the Bloods: Grace Wareham, Claudia Lee and Emma Lucas.
Division two – Hamilton defeated Terang Mortlake 36-29. Best: Maddison Chesshire.
Division three –Hamilton defeated Terang Mortlake 52-37. Best: Jacque Dickson, Niamh Scanlon and Holly Fowler.
17 and under – Hamilton defeated Terang Mortlake 34-20. Best: Anna Dickson, Alice Kain and Millie Scanlon.
15 and under – Terang Mortlake defeated Hamilton 36-14. Best: Charli Dillon and Lara Clarke.
13 and under – Hamilton defeated Terang Mortlake 31-20. Best: Violet Dillon and Hope Kenna.
