Find a country home in Camperdown
CAMPERDOWN will be under the national spotlight tonight (Friday) following the town being selected for an episode of Find My Country House Australia.

Host Catriona Rowntree visited Camperdown back in April for filming and spoke with Gnotuk resident and business owner Kirsty Green.
Ms Green said Mrs Rowntree was “down-to-earth” during their chat and was a delight to speak to.
“It was mainly about Camperdown and what we had to offer,” she said.
“We spoke about all the nice services, the beautiful community and the surrounding districts.
“Then we spoke about the shop – mainly about the paint workshops we offer, where we teach people how to upcycle furniture.
“She was genuinely interested in the town – they had been to see a few houses because the show is about finding someone a country home.

“She was really impressed by the community and the town.”
Corangamite Shire Council assisted in facilitating the show’s visit, connecting them with local identities and locations to feature in the episode.
Ms Green said she was nervous about the episode airing and hoping she was able to capture the spirit of Camperdown.
“I just hope I portray how lovely the town is and I hope I represent the town well,” she said.
“I’m really grateful they chose me to have a chat about – there’s lots of amazing people we’ve got around town, so I was chuffed they chose us to have a chat to.
“Hopefully we get across Camperdown is a lovely place to live.
“We’ve got wonderful services, fabulous schools, hospitals, doctor and pharmacies. We’re a two-hour drive back to the city, that it’s a really welcoming community.
“I love the fact we’re quite arty and there’s lots of people who are chasing the vintage trail especially on the weekends.”
The episode will air tonight (Friday, September 5) at 7.30pm on 9Gem.
