Finlayson wins at Timboon
BILL Finlayson has taken out the A grade monthly medal at the Timboon Golf Club.
Finalyson won last Saturday’s stroke round for medals on a countback from Rodney Edge and Chris Harkness, all on nett 71.
The B grade monthly medal winner was Shaun McKenzie with nett 70.
Peter Delaney and Franny Togni, both with nett 73, were runners-up.
Nutrien Harcourts nearest the pins: 5th Vince Beekman, 7th Kevin Plozza, 10th Rodney Edge and 14th Darren Smith.
Colin Elsum won a ball for his second shot to the 11th.
On Thursday the 12 hole chicken day was won by Kevin Plozza with 28 points from Darryl Neale with 26.
Next Saturday will be stableford.
