YOUNG anglers will be in for a treat these school holidays in Cobden.
Fisheries paid a visit last Tuesday to release fish at Lake Cobden in time for the June school holidays.
Cobden Angling Club president Michael Merrett said Fisheries released 300 very healthy 25cm to 30cm rainbow trout into the lake.
“This release is just in time for the upcoming school holidays,” he said.
“Young anglers are set for some great fishing when they head to the lake.”
Mr Merrett said a number of club members were on hand to assist with the fish release.
