Footy fever alive at Cobden
FOOTY fever was alive and well at Cobden Primary School last week.
Members from the Cobden Football Netball Club ran an Auskick session for all students on Wednesday, with children enjoying a range of fun drills and activities.
The sessions also gave students a taste of the Auskick program.
Many thanks to the Cobden club for the opportunity provided to all students.
“We encourage everyone to lead active and healthy lives, and being a part of a sporting group builds connection and fitness,” acting principal Ilona Watkins said.
“Small towns and their football and netball club provide a central hub for community members; an opportunity to come together.”
