Four-ball best ball
THIRTY-two players took part in a 4BBB stableford competition at the Timboon Golf Club last Saturday.
The day’s winners on 49 points were Tori Ziegelaar and Gavin Rundle on a count-back from Jack Rowe and Rhys Ziegelaar.
Third were Chris Harkness and Gordon Broderick with 45 points.
Geoff Norton and Cody Noonan with 44 points were fourth.
Nearest the pins: 5th Matthew Walker, 7th Darryle Beames, 10th Gavin Rundle and Mick Plozza.
Wes Hollick won the Nutrien Ball for the second shot on the 11th and Gavin Rundle won the South West Car Care Ball for the second shot on the 13th.
Next week’s event is stableford.
On Thursday Kazza’s Railway View Hotel 12 holes Chicken Day was won by Darryle Beames with 32 points from Bryan Ward with 29.
Nearest the pin was Greg Beames.
Lynne Newton took out the stableford event at Timboon last Wednesday, June 5.
Lynne finished with a score of 33 points to win ahead of runner-up Susanne Wallace on 30 points.
Nearest the pin: 10th (second shot) and 13th Biddy Weel.
