Fowler wins at Mortlake

WITH a score of 11-79-68 Craig Fowler took out the stroke monthly medal at the Mortlake Golf Club last weekend.

Runner-up for the day was Bruce Twaddle on 25-93-68 with Slade Palmer third on 1-71-70.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Dougal Raken, 6/15 Andy Lamont and 9/18 Rob Field.

Balls down the line went to Slade Palmer, Dougal Ranken, Hamish Weatherly, Rob Field and Richard van Diemen.

NAGA: Steve Hubbard.

The winner of last Friday’s nine-hole twilight was Peter West 19/52-33 on countback from Andy Casson 10-43-33.

Nearest the pin on the 9th was Andy Hunger.

Next week’s event is a two-person ambrose.
