Fowlers win at Mortlake

CRAIG and Jack Fowler won the four-ball stableford event at the Mortlake Golf Club last Saturday.

Both Craig (11) and Jack (22) finished on 45 points, ahead of runners-up Jordan Wareham (19) and Isaac Wareham (8) on 43 points.

Third place went to Rob Field (11) and Dougal Ranken (15) on 42 points.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Jordan Wareham, 6/15 Jack Folwer and 9/18 Steve Hubbard.

Balls down the line: Rob Field and Dougal Ranken 42, Scott Richie and Wes Wareham 40, Peter Palmer and Kevin Etherton 40.

New member – Jack Fowler.

Last Friday night’s nine-hole twilight was won by Glen Byers 12-44-32 on countback from Bruce Twaddle 14-46-31 on countback from Andrew Hunger 12-44-32.

Nearest the pin on the 9th was Les Dawson.

This week will be stableford.
