Free course for resident upskilling

CORANGAMITE Shire Council is serving up free Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training for shire businesses and residents looking to upskill.


Manager economy and prosperity Katy McMahon said the session, scheduled for Thursday, March 26 from 9.30am-3.30pm at the Killara Centre, is ideal for hospitality workers looking to refresh or upgrade their RSA skills or job seekers aiming to enter the hospitality industry.

“Attendees will gain vital skills and knowledge needed to serve alcohol safely and legally across Victoria,” she said.

“After successful completion of the course, they will receive a Victorian RSA certificate, accredited by Liquor Control Victoria, and National Statement of Attainment SITHFAB021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification.

“Participants will get a workbook and tea, coffee and light catering will be provided.
