Freeballers drop to fourth
WITH one round to go before finals, two convincing wins have lifted Champs to third spot on the Corangamite Volleyball ladder.
Due to a close loss to the improving Champs, Freeballers have continued to fall down the table, now sitting in fourth place.
If form is a guide, it looks unlikely that any teams will trade spots in the last round.
Top team Poachers made short work of NOBTS to confirm their hold on top.
Both teams are likely to play off for the autumn title in two weeks, so NOBTS will need to bring their best game to be competitive.
With registrations now being taken for the winter season, which will start on Tuesday, July 14, new players and teams are asked to contact Gabrielle (0428 799 690), Bing (0431 231 651) or Kelvin (0429 921 876) as soon as possible so a fixture can be organised.
