Friendship day celebration in Timboon
LAST Monday was a day of friendship for local Probus Clubs.
LAST Monday was a day of friendship for local Probus Clubs.
Timboon Probus Club secretary Alison Gebert said a Friendship Meeting was held on Monday, October 10 which saw attendees from Timboon, Cobden, Terang and Camperdown Probus Clubs.
Attendees were treated to a unique performance from Sovereign Hill’s Dr John Harrison and Pauline Knot.
“They were talking about different medicines – he’s an apothecary,” Mrs Gebert said.
“We’ve had scones and a cuppa and representatives from all clubs have answered quizzes.”
She said the meeting was a positive forall involved.
“This is the first time we’ve held it for three years,” Mrs Gebert said.
“It’s good to be back to meeting and catching up with everyone and hearing who they are progressing after the break.”
