Gayle Kelson says a fond farewell
CAMPERDOWN’S Sewells Lawyers office bid farewell to a beloved staff member as she entered retirement last week.

Gayle Kelson has worked with Sewells for more than five years, having worked 20 years at the Camperdown Hospital prior to the move.
Speaking with The Camperdown Chronicle on her final day last Thursday, she said she had made the decision 18 months ago to step away.
“I’ve been here five years and four months, and I’ve loved it,” she said.
“It’s been a great experience.
“I knew a lot of people from when I was at the hospital – I was at the Camperdown Hospital for 20 years before I came across to Sewells Lawyers.
“It’s not an easy job – it’s a hard job, but I’ve loved the challenge.
“The staff are absolutely wonderful here in Camperdown, and the bosses really do look after you.”

Ms Kelson was showered with well-wishes during her last day, in addition to a surprise of flowers and chocolates.
She said while she was looking forward to enjoying some extra time to herself, she was going to miss the workplace.
“I’m going to miss the people,” Ms Kelson said.
“I’m going to miss the work – I’ve loved getting into the work and getting it done.
“I’m just looking forward to doing a bit of travel, patchwork, dancing, gardening and bushwalking.
“It’ll be good to do them whenever I want to do them.
“I’m looking forward to doing things with family as well – that’s one of the most important things.”
