Gistede wins at Timboon
LAST Wednesday’s stroke for the monthly medal and silverspoon winner at the Timboon Golf Club was Michelle Gristede with 89-17-72.
The runner-up was Vera Convey 93-20-73.
Ball down the line: Donna Weller 80-7-73 while nearest the pin on the 13th went to Lynne Newton.
Nelle Cashmore had the least number of putts with 28.
Last Saturday members played stroke for the division one and two monthly medals.
Division one winner was Chris Harkness with nett 68 from Kevin Plozza and Craig Saunders both with nett 70.
The division two winner was Franny Togni with nett 72 from Todd Brunt with nett 74 and Gavin Rundle with nett 76.
Judy Delaney had the best ladies’ score with nett 68 from Donna Weller with nett 72.
Nearest the pins: 5th Bill Norton, 7th Steve Plozza, 10th Rodney Edge and 14th Phillip Brown.
The Nutrien ball on the 11th was won by Judy Walsh and the South West Car Care ball on the 13th by Gordon Broderick.
On Thursday the 12 holes Kazza’s Railway View Hotel Chicken Day was won by Jimmy Brittain with 32 points from Darryl Neal with 29.
Nearest the pin on the 5th was John Bertram.
Next Saturday’s event will be 4BBB Stableford for the second round of the Ethnic Cup.
