Glossop shines at league vote count
TERANG Mortlake’s Annabelle Glossop has finished runner-up in the Western Victoria Female Football League’s under 18 girls best and fairest award.
TERANG Mortlake’s Annabelle Glossop has finished runner-up in the Western Victoria Female Football League’s under 18 girls best and fairest award.
Glossop, from Mortlake, had a stellar season on the ground and finished with 15 votes, eight behind ladder leader and award winner, Scarlett O’Donnell of South Warrnambool.
Cavendish’s Lealya Pohl finished third on 14 votes while fellow Blood Sophie Curran finished fourth on 13.
Terang Mortlake’s Tayla Bell was also prominent in the vote count, earning nine for the season, while team-mates Claire Kennedy and Maddison Newell both finished with four.
