TERANG lady golfers have been busy on the greens over the past few months, with several competitions held.
Due to the golf course being wet last December, the Bessie Shady Bowl was transferred to January this year.
Seventy players from around the district took part in the Irish 4BBB competition.
The winning team on the day was from Lake Bolac – Leanne Ritchies, Una Allender, Suzanne Neumann and Jane Higgins.
The runners-up was a Terang team comprising Kate Cornelissen, Heather Holmes, Aileen Clarke and Janet Saunders.
Another major event in the ladies’ golf calender at Terang was the annual Rose Bowl.
A field of 80 players enjoyed the event on February 10.
The combination of Terang and East Framlingham ladies proved to be a winning formula with the Bowl going to Jo Arundell, Dianne Glennen, Maureen Bond (Terang) and Julie Kenna (East Framlingham).
Special mention to Dianne Glennen who is one of the new players at Terang competing for the first time.
