Golfers contest monthly medal

TIMBOON golfers contested a stroke/monthly medal at the club last Saturday.

A grade was won by Chris Huffadine (9) 78 nett 69 followed by runner-up Geoff Norton (9) 82 nett 73, with Darren Smith (6) third on 79 nett 73.

The B grade winner was Andrew Gant (21) 101 nett 80, Percy Gillin (28) was second on 109 nett 81, with Franny Togni (19) third on 101 nett 82.

NAGA awards: A grade Mick Plozza (15) 100 nett 85; B grade Steven Kerr (25) 109 nett 83.

Nearest the pins: 5th and 10th Chris Harkness, 7th Richard Stone, 11th second shot (0-17) Steve Plozza.

This Saturday, July 4, will be a two person ambrose.

The Timboon Hotel chicken day winner was Ben Finlayson.

The runner-up was Bryan Ward, with Peter Plozza nearest the pin.
