Good results on course
THIRTEEN teams competed in the three-person gentsomes competition at the Terang Golf Club last Friday.
The annual event attracted strong competition, with the winning team of Robyn McLeod, Cheryl Carroll and Pam Clarke, finishing with a score of 84.
Runners-up were Karen Mather, Aileen Clarke and Alison Walsh with 82 points on a countback from Wendy O’Connor, Heather Holes and Clare Pearson 82.
Nearest the pins: visitors – 3rd Carmel Darcy and 11th Sharee Healey; local winners – 3rd Heather Holmes and 6th Jenny Meade.

Last Thursday’s morning competition was won by Lynette Coxon with 34 points, followed by Cate Glennon on 33.
The men’s winner was Terry Easleyy with 32 points, followed by Peter Hrabar 28 on countback from Chris Coolahan.
Balls down the line went to Jenny Meade 32 and Chris Coolahan 28.
Nearest the pins: 11th Cate Glennon and 18th from off the green, Janet Saunders.
Winner of the afternoon competition was Terry Coolahan with 30 points.
