Good round from Davies

AARON Davies has taken out the latest nine-hole twilight event at the Mortlake Golf Club.

Davies finished last Friday’s event with a score of 15-45-30, ahead of runner-up Bruce Twaddle on 14-46-32.

Nearest the pin on the 9th was Jack Fowler.

Last Saturday’s par event was won by Hamish Weatherly (6) +4, with Peter Palmer (9) +2 the runner-up on countback.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 and 6/15 Hamish Weatherly, 9/18 Kevin Etherton.

Balls down the line went to Dougal Ranken, David Hubbard and Richard van Diemen on countback.

Next week’s event is stroke monthly medal.
