IT was a cold and wet start to winter for many towns across the south west.
Cobden saw 117mm of rain fall throughout June, well above the long-term average of 82.3mm but slightly down on last year’s June figure of 122.2mm.
The highest daily rainfall figure was 25mm of rain on June 8.
So far this year, 458mm of rain has hit the ground over Cobden and surrounds, well above the 374.4mm for the same time frame last year.
