Grand final awaits young Demons

TIMBOON Demons’ 13 and under netballers will face Russells Creek in this Saturday’s grand final.

The Demons earned themselves a grand final appearance after defeating Allansford 27-23 in the semi-final last Saturday week.

They last played Russells Creek back in round 17 and enjoyed a convincing 37-24 goal win.

They will be hoping for a repeat result on Saturday at Reid Oval.

The grand final match is scheduled to start at 8.30am.

The Demons’ under 13 footballers were defeated by Dennington in last Saturday’s preliminary final, 1.5.11 to 1.0.6, ending their campaign.

Zack Delaney was the only goal scorer for the day while Lachlan Doolan, William Plozza, Sacha Blain, Harry Lawson, Benjamin Newton and Dallas Blain were named among the team’s best players.
