THE dedication and commitment of a number of long-term employees at the Camperdown hospital have been recognised.
While the traditional celebratory afternoon tea could not be held, campus manager Janine Durea-Finn said staff still had their service acknowledged.
“Normally we would have an afternoon tea, but due to COVID-19 restrictions we’re doing a hall of fame which will be displayed in the foyer so the other staff and patients can have a look,” she said.
“They also get a gift from the hospital based on length of service.”
Long-serving staff members acknowledged were:
Thirty-five years service
Glenda Cotton;
Josephine Pearson; and
Jo Place.
Thirty years service
Vicki Brebner.
Twenty years service
Fiona Clissold;
Kelvin Fitzgerald;
Gayle Kelson; and
Lynda Warden.
Fifteen years service
Jennifer Kinna;
Sherryl Mueller;
Sharon Murphy; and
Tanya Robbins.
Ten years service
Maria Shaw; and
Lucinda Titmus.
Ms Durea-Finn said having staff retained long-term was a positive reflection on the hospital.
“People love to come to the hospital and see the same faces,” she said.
“We’re very proud of our staff here at Camperdown.”
