Leader, who is also the new Camperdown Open coach, brings a wealth of experience to the role.

She has dedicated over a decade to coaching at Geelong West, as well as coaching within the private school system.

Additionally, her involvement in the Victorian Netball League (VNL) has further cemented her reputation as a highly knowledgeable and respected mentor in the netball community.

HFNL head of netball Dot Jenkins expressed the league’s delight at securing such an accomplished coach.

“Jill’s extensive background in netball coaching and development makes her an outstanding choice to lead the Bottle Greens Open team,” Jenkins said.

“Her experience at various levels of the game will be invaluable as we prepare for this year’s Association Championships.

“We look forward to seeing the impact of her leadership on the team,” Jenkins said.

This announcement finalises the coaching panels for this year’s Hampden FNL teams, with Koroit's Danielle McInerney coaching the under 17 squad, North Warrnambool’s Maddie Vardy working with the under 15 squad, Leah Kermeen and Josie Ellerton guiding the under 15 reserve team, Koroit’s Kate Dobson along with Marie-Clare Smedts coaching the under 13s, and Nat O'Dea leading the under 13 reserves team with Lianna Harrison.
