Harvey wins at Terang
HARVEY Roberts continued his good form on the greens this week, taking out the all-day competition at the Terang Golf Club.
Harvey finished on 38 points, with Jo Arundell runner-up on 37.
Balls down the line went to Peter Hrabar 34, George Beasley 34, Marion Venn 32 on countback from Paddy O’Connor 32.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Leo Beasley, 6th Martin Wynd, 8th George Beasley and 11th Leo Beasley.
The nine hole stableford event was won by Frank O’Connor with 20 points.
This Thursday, February 20, will be an all-day stroke, first round of the ladies’ championships, monthly medal and putting.
There will also be an all-day stableford event, 18 holes and nine holes (1-9). All welcome.
