Heytesbury Show seeks coordinator
LAST week saw Heytesbury Agricultural Society hosting their Annual General meeting to mark the beginning of a new financial year.
Secretary Sue Stevens said the board remained the same with herself, president John Barake and treasurer Emma Ferrari all returning to their positions.
“I also reported that our gate numbers were up at the Heytesbury Agricultural Show,” she said.
“There was an increase in the number of trade stands, which ensured we made a profit and is always good.
“The mystery showbags are always a great success for the show and the participants.”
Mrs Stevens said the society was looking for a new coordinator of the mystery showbags program.
“The main role is to coordinate with the trade stands regarding their giveaways and sell the buckets on the day,” she said.
